A Christmas icon arrived in Bermuda earlier today — the one and only Santa Claus.
Santa greeted children from School House Nursery at the LF Wade International Airport shortly after arriving on the island via Delta Air Lines this morning.
He sang carols, listened to the children’s Christmas wish lists and gave each of them, as well as teachers, an early Christmas present.
Nikki Fagan, head of brand development and communications at Skyport, which operates the airport, said the concierge team was “delighted to have played a small role in sharing the magic of Christmas with Bermuda.
“We ensured Santa received top-notch service upon arrival and experienced a smooth transition from the carrier through Customs.”

Ms Fagan also highlighted the series of holiday events scheduled to take place at the airport throughout the season, which includes a school Christmas carol competition, a holiday market and happy hour specials from the Whistling Frog rum bar and grill.
Santa will spend most of his time on the island at his headquarters in the Annex Toys on Reid Street.
He will be there to greet children this evening and next Friday from 6pm to 8pm, and will take photos with them from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
There will be additional photo opportunities on December 2, 9 and 16, from 10.30am until 11.30am.

Santa will also read children’s Christmas letters on the Annex Toys’ Letters to Santa Show.
This segment, which will begin on December 4, will air on ZFB TV 7 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm.
• To hear your letter read during the programme, place it inside the red mailbox at the Annex Toys.
